Tal Y Foel - Bed and Breakfast

Tal y Foel is the home of Lewis and Judy Hutchings and is on the shore of the Menai Straits. It is small and friendly and in a peaceful rural location with spectacular views across the Straits to Caernarfon Castle and the mountains of Snowdonia. It is ideal for bird watching, walking and fishing. We are also a stud farm and riding centre and offer individually designed riding holidays for adults or family members. We do not accept unaccompanied children.

We are near Newborough Forest and the beaches and tourist attractions of South Anglesey.

We have double and twin bedded en suite accommodation. Our twin rooms can also be family rooms and we have a children's bedroom adjacent to the double room.

There are tea and coffee making facilities and TVs in every room. Guests are encouraged to make use of the house including the conservatory and the lounge which has a piano and a games cupboard. There is a choice of reasonably priced evening meals in nearby restaurants or you can bring your own food and drink back to consume on the sea shore, in the conservatory or in the garden.

We have many facilities for use by guests including a telephone call box and we provide drying/storage for walkers and cyclists. We are open all year.

Tal y Foel is a British Horse Society Approved Riding Establishment. We offer individually designed courses of instruction as well as hacks/treks on the beach and on several miles of our own grass tracks. We have a cross-country training course and offer horse livery for guests bringing their own horses.
