Snowdonia seen across the Menai Strait — Wikimedia Commons, CC BY-SA 2.0
Tal Y Foel, the home of Lewis and Judy Hutchings, sits on the shore of the Menai Strait at Dwyran in south-west Anglesey — small, friendly and peacefully rural, with spectacular views across the water to Caernarfon Castle and the mountains of Snowdonia. It is ideal country for birdwatching, walking and fishing, near Newborough Forest and the beaches of south Anglesey.
Rooms are en-suite doubles and twins (the twins convert for families, with an adjacent children’s room), all with TV and tea and coffee facilities, and guests have the run of the conservatory and lounge. The farm is also a stud and riding centre — see Anglesey Riding Centre — offering individually designed riding holidays. Note: unaccompanied children are not accepted.
