Victoria Cottage occupies part of the renowned Grade I listed Victoria Terrace (1833), designed by Joseph Hansom — architect of the archetypal Victorian horse-drawn cab, and locally of the Gaol (1829) and the Bulkeley Hotel (1832).

The house is sumptuously furnished: the first floor offers a double bedroom with private slipper-bath bathroom and a double with en-suite shower; the whole top floor is a suite with king and single beds, slipper-bath bathroom and its own lounge. Hosts Jeff and Carole — who fell in love with Beaumaris and never left — provide the warmest of welcomes.
